Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Little Lights LLC (“Little Lights,” “we,” “us”), a company in the United States. They apply when you use the Soft Structure apps or this website. By using Soft Structure you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

You need to be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure.

Everything you put into Soft Structure stays yours. You give us permission to store it, sync it between your devices if you ask us to, and process it so the app works — nothing more. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Most of it never reaches us at all. What you write lives on your device unless you sign in and separately turn syncing on. Your step count stays on your device whatever you turn on, and so do the pictures on your recipes — the one exception is a photograph you ask the app to read, which is described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you put in and for keeping your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose. Deleting the app deletes everything that was only on your device.

Soft Structure is sold as a subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel yours in your App Store or Google Play account settings; we can’t cancel it for you.

If your plan includes a free trial and you don’t cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We may change prices, and will tell you before a change affects your renewal.

Some features use AI, which can be wrong or unhelpful. Treat what it suggests as a starting point, not advice, and check anything that matters. It is never medical, mental health, legal or financial advice.

AI features are off unless you turn them on, and each one tells you what it sends before you use it. A monthly allowance applies so the features stay available to everyone; we will tell you what is included with your plan, and if you run out we will say so rather than failing quietly.

Sending a workout, a week, your grocery list or the week’s menu hands the text to your phone’s own share sheet and you choose where it goes. It is an ordinary message: once you have sent it, what the other person does with it is between you and them.

Sending a calendar invite is the same kind of thing: a file your phone makes and your share sheet sends. Whoever receives it needs no app, no account and no subscription, and nothing about it reaches us.

Soft Structure is a planning and wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. Talk to a qualified health professional about your health, and don’t ignore their advice because of something in the app.

Please do not break the law with it, try to reach other people’s accounts, copy or resell the app, take it apart or interfere with how it runs, use it to harass anyone, or use the AI features in a way designed to run up their cost rather than to plan your own day. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

The app, its design, text, drawings and name belong to Little Lights. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Soft Structure on devices you own. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it, except where the law says otherwise.

We aim to keep Soft Structure running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the app entirely, we’ll give you notice and a way to export your plans.

Soft Structure is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and you may have consumer rights that these terms don’t affect.

You can stop using Soft Structure at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. When your account is deleted, your content is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

You download Soft Structure from Apple or Google, but your agreement is with us. They are not responsible for the app or for support, and they have no obligation to you in relation to it. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You also agree you are not in a country subject to a US embargo or on a restricted-parties list, and that you will follow the App Store or Google Play terms that apply to you.

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top, and tell you about significant changes before they take effect. Carrying on using Soft Structure after that means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live in the EU, UK or another place with mandatory consumer protections, those rights still apply to you.
